TWENTY-THIRD SUNDAY
IN ORDINARY TIME
Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Journey in Faith: We need you!
God leads us out. During this Journey in Faith, God is calling us out of the familiar and into something new. He is calling us to be a Church that is committed—not compliant or complacent. And we cannot become that Church if we remain in our comfort zones. So, if you are feeling uncomfortable right now, perhaps that is exactly where God wants you to be. And if you aren't, you are invited to consider that He may have a call waiting for you. We all have a part to play in leaving behind what was and stepping into what will be—with trust, courage, surrender, and faith. What are you being asked to leave behind? What are you being asked to step into? You are invited to take these questions to prayer. We need you.
We are looking for more ministers for daily Masses (lectors and EMs) and to lead the Rosary before Masses and at Adoration. If you're interested in ministering for any of those, please contact Martha (mgarciawegener@seasp.org).
Community Connection with Special Needs Adults

All adult parishioners in the Pastorate are welcome to this event. It creates an opportunity for adults with disabilities to socialize and make connections with other adults in a welcoming atmosphere. Come have a snack and make some new friends! Join us on Friday, September 18th from 6:30-8:30pm in the St. Joseph Church Hall. Coffee, water, and treats will be provided. If you know an adult with a disability, please invite them to this event. (For those unable to be independent during the gathering, we ask that a caregiver be present at the event.) Any questions, feel

Join us for a special gathering for all volunteers who provide snack bags for the Willis Dady Shelter, plus anyone curious about this ministry.
